At this introduction to jewellery making workshop you'll learn some jewellery making techniques including sawing, texturing, soldering and make a pendant or a pair or earrings.
You'll start by experimenting with copper and brass and create different textures using hammers and punches. Once you have tried out the techniques you can move on to create your piece in silver. Everything will be provided for you so you can produce your own piece of silver jewellery - all tools, equipment, lots of hands on support and guidance.
A piece of sheet silver will be provided together with either a silver chain or earring hooks or earring posts. Should you wish to make a larger pendant or earrings, silver will be available to buy on the day for an additional charge.
This workshop is suitable for those that are new to jewellery making, would like to try something new or for anyone who has done a little jewellery making and still consider themselves as a beginner. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included throughout the workshop.
Please contact Sheila Roussel for any other information and to book your place.

We have a range of volunteering opportunities on offer. For as little as a couple of hours you could help out with the remnant shop, show visitors around or take sales from the gift shop, we would love to welcome you onboard!
