With the winter in full swing, using a hot water bottle is a good, inexpensive way to help keep yourself warm. Using a fleece hot water bottle cover acts as insulation and helps keep it hotter for longer whilst protecting your skin.

Join this sewing workshop to make a fleecy cover from a choice of fabrics we have put aside from our remnant shop. Or you can up-cycle a jumper you have shrunk in the wash or a sweatshirt that you no longer wear.

There will be support throughout the workshop on using a paper pattern, how to construct your cover and also how to add some decoration to personalise it ready to take away with you.

Basic sewing machine skills are required to take part.

Everything you need will be provided for you to make your cover measuring 20 cm x 32 cm.

Light refreshments are provided.

Over 12 years can attend with a participating adult.

Nest is an inclusive organisation and everyone is welcome. If you have any additional needs or require additional support please contact us in advance of your booking so we can make sure we are able to provide it.
