Nest could not operate without the many volunteers who provide great service to our customers, manage our stock, organise remnant donations, arrange window displays and prepare our craft kits and run workshops.

We offer a broad range of volunteering opportunities to learn transferable skills such as assisting with the running of our shop areas, providing great customer service, making up craft kits, teaching craft skills to others and more.

Here are some of the things our volunteers help with:

- sorting and pricing donated art & craft materials

- helping customers and taking payments in our shop areas

- keeping the shop areas looking great

- running or helping out with workshops and craft groups

- making up craft kits from donated materials to support community initiatives

- creating items for window displays

- chatting about crafts and sharing knowledge
