Nest Creative Spaces Community Interest Company (Nest) is a non profit Social Enterprise.

We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information that we collect about you through the operation of our services. We store personal information for only as long as we have a reason to keep it. It is then destroyed/deleted safely.

Any information you provide to Nest will only be used within Nest and to promote events booked with us.

  1. your name and contact details, including your email address if you submit a booking request on the website
  2. your name, email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to our newsletter, and how you use our emails (e.g. whether you open them and which links you click on)
  3. your IP address, and details of which version of web browser you used
  4. information on how you use the site, using cookies and page tagging techniques

Who can view my data and what do they do with it?

This data can be viewed by authorised people in the Nest team and our suppliers, to:

  • improve the site by monitoring how you use it
  • gather feedback to improve our services, for example our email alerts
  • respond to any feedback you send us, if you’ve asked us to
  • send email alerts to users who request them
  • allow you to access Nest services and make transactions
  • provide you with information about the craft sector

How will we use the information about you?

Information gathered from the website submission form for Event Bookings is used to process your booking and advertise it on our website, social media and other methods we use to promote events.

We use a third party service, to publish and host our website.

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Third Party Applications

We may connect with third party services to improve your experience. These features are governed by the respective company's privacy policy so review your privacy settings there.

We use the following third party sites/applications to manage bookings, promote events & services, make payments etc in our day to day business and will only use your information that is required:

  • Mailchimp - to issue our newsletters
  • iZettle - to process payments for services and sales from our shop
  • Eventbrite - to sell tickets for events hosted by us
  • Facebook/Twitter/Instagram - to promote our events, services and share information
  • Buffer - to promote our events, services and share information
  • Webflow - to host and publish our website


Our newsletter is used by us to send you regular updates on events, news, and features on Nest and the craft sector.

We use a third party provider, Mailchimp to deliver our e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see Mailchimp’s Privacy Notice.

If you have signed up for our newsletter, we will use the details you provided to send you regular newsletters and updates via email. We will not share this information for marketing purposes with other companies.
