We are pleased to be the host venue for the monthly Blairgowrie & Rattray Repair Café, that we support in conjunction with Blairgowrie & District Climate Cafe and Strathmore Mens Shed. They meet in our downstairs craft room every last Saturday of the month from 10.30 to 12.30.

The Repair Café is a place where you can bring small personal and household items in need of repair, such as small electrical appliances, toys, jewellery, clothes etc, that would otherwise be thrown away.

When you arrive you complete a registration form for your item. If it can't be looked at on the day they will arrange for it to be looked at by one of the repair volunteers to see if it can be repaired.

If there is going to be a cost to make the repair, such as for new parts, you will be contacted by the repairer in advance for this to be agreed with you.

You will then be contacted to arrange collection.

Repairs are free of charge however any donation you wish to make will be welcome.

Please note: staff at Nest are unable to take in items for repair. All items should be brought to the event so they can be registered and discussed with you.
